Grade-A Breach: Hacker Exposes Data of Millions of California Students

A compromised login enabled a hacker to access third-party testing contractor Educational Testing Service (ETS) from May through September, copying records of over 5.7 million California students. Compromised data includes student names, birthdates, addresses, test scores, and disability status, though the California Department of Education confirmed Social Security numbers and financial details were not accessed.
